Cybereason

2023 - 2024 • Brand & Web Design

Context

Cybereason is a leader in AI driven cybersecurity who provides a wide range of products, services, and platforms for companies to detect, prevent, and respond to a variety of cyber threats and attacks.

Cybereason is a primary investor of Tokyo Techies. Their CEO, Eric Gan, and our own, Duc Doba, met a number of years ago in Soft Bank, and we’re honorably their go-to company for much of their development needs. In fact, they’re the reason I moved abroad to Japan to work for Tokyo Techies.

In 2024, Cybereason was building a product called Unified Platform, and they were undergoing major changes to improve their marketshare in the U.S. This included new teams and offices, leaders, and a new website.

Responsibilities

Simplify the site’s information architecture, improve accessibility, and clarify the primary call-to-action. The Cybereason website hosts a behemoth of information, complete with confusing acronyms, technical terminology, and heavily cluttered infographics. It was my job make sure that important product and service information was easily understandable and findable for visitors.

At the same time, Cybereason wanted a visual facelift too. This included a more modern color scheme, simpler typefaces, and updated visuals. I was honored to lead the conversations with Cybereason’s graphic design team for updated versions of their signature team of mascots–the owls.
